One on one curated activities based on assessed needs and the interests of the individual. Activities may support one or more areas of need at a time, within the 5 areas of wellbeing. The 5 areas of wellbeing are: emotional, social, physical, mental and spiritual.

Recreational therapy, also known as therapeutic recreation, utilizing recreation and other activity-based interventions to address the assessed needs of individuals with illnesses and/or disabling conditions, as a means to psychological and physical health, recovery and well-being.

What is Recreation Therapy?
Recreational therapy provides individual/group treatment services; incorporating recreation activities and techniques such as arts, animals, sports, games, movement, music, community and nature outings. Recreational therapists seek to treat and maintain the physical, mental, emotional spiritual well-being of their clients by seeking to reduce depression, stress, and anxiety; recover basic motor functioning and reasoning abilities; build confidence; and socialize effectively.
